Prasanna Autism Centre has been working for the past 26 years to bring autistic students into the mainstream through various therapies. The center celebrates different festivals to familiarize these children with our culture.

One of the most important festivals celebrated here is Raksha Bandhan. Every year, these children celebrate the festival uniquely by focusing on a specific theme.Following themes like Chandrayaan, the World Cup, and Operation Sindoor in previous years, this year’s theme was the environment.

The children created replicas of the Earth and trees along with various environmental messages. They tied Rakhis to these replicas and prayed for the protection of the environment.The event was conceptualized by Sadhana Godbole, Managing Director of Prasanna Autism Centre.

Dr. Devika Bhide, an expert in Vertigo and vestibular disorders, attended as the chief guest. Teachers including Mrunal Dhole, Bharti Patil, Uma Kharse, and Rutuja Gaikwad along with all the students and parents, participated in the event with great enthusiasm.
