As A NGO, Working For Autism And Developmental Disabilities, Prasanna Autism Centre:
- provides services that include diagnosis, early intervention, school education, therapies and pre-vocational training.
- provides guidance, counselling and training of parents and families.
- conducts human resource development programs in the area of autism and
developmental disabilities. - conducts community awareness programs.


Our Mission
Prasanna Autism Centre (PAC) is a registered NGO working for children with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). It began in 2000 as an initiative and a vision of Late Smt. Padmaja Godbole.
Prior to 2000, provision of services for children with autism was at a nascent stage.
While running Prism Foundation Trust for Learning Disability, Multiple Disabled children, Late Smt. Padmaja Godbole noticed 4-5 children with autism. Those children were brought under the flagship of ‘Prasanna Autism Centre’.
Last two decades has seen PAC grow into an organization that is been recognized for quality and range of its services.

Dr. Prasad Purushottam Godbole
Chairman, Prasanna Autism Centre
Dr. Prasad Godbole is the Chairman of Padmpurush Foundation. He has MBA degree in from a reputable UK business school. He is a Medical Director of Pioneer Healthcare Limited, Consultant Pediatric Urologist and Honorary Senior Lecturer. He has many years of experience in management and has led his Division in the hospital in UK since many years. He is mainly based in UK.

Mrs. Sadhana Godbole
Executive Chairman & Managing Director
Mrs. Sadhana Godbole is Executive Chairman and Managing Director of Prasanna Autism Centre. She obtained professional training from her Late mother-in-law Smt. Padmaja Godbole, founder of ‘Prasanna Autism Centre’. Last twenty two years of hard work taught her how to interact with the parents of autistic children. In order to help sensitize the society, regarding autistic children and their issues, on behalf of Prasanna Autism Centre, she conducted a community sensitization programme on the World Autism Awareness Day on 2nd of April. Sadhana Godbole always works timelessly for creating awareness about autism and for progress of the autistic children.

Mrs. Sucheta Rajhans
Business
Mrs. Sucheta Rajhans is Secretary of Padmpurush Foundation. She is self-employed and is one of the Director of Samanvay Advertising and Communications Private Limited. Samanvay Communications corporate office is located in 4th floor, Trident, Bavdhan Pashan Road, Sus, Pune. She handles the daily operations of the organisation and make significant strategic and operational decisions that ensure the company meet its
objectives. As a Secretary of Padmpurush Foundation she is responsible for keeping all the records of the members and activities associated with the trust.

Mr. Subhash Keskar
Social Service
Mr. Subhash Keskar is the Treasurer of Padmpurush Foundation. Voluntarily retired as Vice-president of Saam Tv and Sakal newspaper. Subhash Keskar is working as a consultant for a NGO namely Diabetic Association of India, Pune branch. He looks after advertising section for Madhumeha Mitra Magazine. As a treasurer of our foundation, he looks after financial planning and budgeting of the trust and maintains trust’s bank accounts, records finances etc.
Mrs. Shubhada Pendharkar
Retired Headmistress
Mrs. Shubhada Pendharkar is the trustee of Padmpurush Foundation. Retired as a Headmistress of Pune Police Public School. Presently, she works as a facilitator at IGNOU, Jnana Prabodhini’s Institute of Psychology. She is into Awareness and sensitization programmers specifically related to Learning difficulties and Autism Spectrum Disorder at Dr. Shanta Vaidya Memorial Foundation and at Prasanna Autism Centre.

Mrs. Sandhya Joshi
Insurance Agent
Mrs. Sandhya Joshi is the trustee of Padmpurush Foundation. Working as a LIC Agent
since many years.

Mr. Amit Waikar

Mr. Amit Waikar is the trustee of Padmpurush Foundation. He is into jewellery business started by his great grandfather. He is the owner of V S Waikar and Sons Jewellers located at Shaniwar Peth, Pune.
